Ho Chi Minh Museum

Located at a junction on the Saigon River, the Ho Chi Minh Museum was built in 1873 in European architecture except the roof which was made in elegant Asian style. From this port in 1911, the late President Ho Chi Minh boarded a French merchant ship bound for France in search of national salvation. The museum has a collection of 3,000 pictures and 700 artifacts, among which are plain everyday use objects of the first President of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
